What you are looking forward to most for the upcoming season and serving on the BVC Leadership team?
“I love watching all the athletes supporting each other and seeing their growth as the season goes on. I'm looking forward to being on the leadership team and being a part of the culture that creates great coaches and athletes and I can't wait to host our local tournament and bring other teams together too.”
Why is Blacktooth’s philosophy of "person first, athlete second" important to you?
“This philosophy makes sure that a player's mental wellbeing is supported and nurtured which will help their self esteem. In return this will create a more positive sporting environment with well rounded athletes.”

“I have been married to my husband for almost 15 years, together we have 4 daughters. I work part time at Noah's Ark Christian Preschool and in my free time you can find me crafting, reading, camping, and spending time as a family.”
What is something you enjoy about the club experience at Blacktooth?
“I love the way our coaches treat our kids with a positive attitude. They show them how to improve without getting upset. My girls played for the first time ever last year and learned so much and fell in love with the sport!”
Other Tidbits
“Some fun facts: I'm adopted and I have 5 brothers and 3 sisters and I have 14 nieces and nephews. I love traveling and spent a few semester studying in Spain and student teaching in Guatemala. I love crafting and I'm always finding new projects which I love but I'm sure my husband just shakes his head!”
