Bill Thomas
As a member of our Fundraising and Events Committee, Bill plays an important role in supporting the efforts that help make the Blacktooth experience possible. He assists with raffles, events, and fundraising initiatives that help create opportunities for more athletes to be part of the Blacktooth experience while allowing our program to continue to grow and thrive.
Bill is always willing to help in whatever capacity is needed and consistently steps up to ensure things get done. His thoughtful perspective and genuine investment in the experience of our teams and families make him a valued member of our leadership team. We're grateful for his steady commitment, consistency, and passion for our program that make a lasting impact year after year.
Get to know Bill
“I’m married to fellow board member, Kelly. I have 3 children, Erik, Kara, and Lilly. I spent 28 years in Law enforcement, retiring as a Sergeant. Currently day to day I maintain the household/property, play a little golf, relax and enjoy life.”
What is something you enjoy about the club experience at Blacktooth?
“We've found the Blacktooth club to be an organization that is committed to the success of our children. As a group, the club and parents are all willing to step up and volunteer to help each other.”
What you are looking forward to most for the upcoming season and serving on the BVC Leadership team?
“Looking forward to watching the youngsters improve and the Club being successful.”
Why is Blacktooth’s philosophy of "person first, athlete second" important to you?
“It is crucial for the individual to be a good member of society first, this will help them become a better teammate, respond better to coaching, which will in turn improve their athletic ability.”
